1) Areas/Location from where the connectivity from the pipeline can be obtained?

Ans: Presently Phase-I pipeline from Kunchanapalli (Andhra Pradesh) to Ramagundam (Telangana) is operational. 2) How can I request/enquire for a connection?

Ans: For request for connection please submit the request as per “Format For Indicating Interest” at http://gspcgroup.com/GITL/regulatory-requirements.

3) What are the formalities for obtaining connection?

Ans: Interested entities need to sign Connectivity Agreement /GTA/ GSA with our company to enable us to establish connectivity to your plant and transport /supply natural gas.

4) What is the price of the natural gas?

Ans: The price of RLNG(Imported Natural Gas) is unregulated and market determined, whereas allocation and pricing of domestic gas is determined as per the government policy.

5) What is the safety system for the pipeline in operation?

Ans: Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS) is in place with implementation of Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plan (ERDMP), Permit to Work System, Safety Audits, Risk Assessments & mock drills etc.

Sectionalized valve stations and Intermediate pigging stations are constructed at strategic locations all along the pipeline as per PNGRB guidelines and can be remotely operated (Closed or opened) through SCADA system.

The pipeline is monitored and controlled through Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for which Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) is being laid along with the pipeline. Impressed current cathodic protection has been installed for underground pipelines and necessary protective coatings has been provided for above ground pipelines as well.

As per PNGRB guidelines, Higher thickness pipes are used near habitat. Pipeline markers are installed throughout the entire length of the pipeline with emergency toll free numbers in case of emergency. Scheduled patrolling activities are being carried out to ensure safe condition of pipeline and ROU.

Fire protection system is installed as per PNGRB guidelines. Clean agent NOVEC 1230 system provided inside the control room and CO2 flooding system provided in the battery, electrical rooms and inside the building. Gas detection system is provided in the process area.

Competent workforce and scheduled maintenance activities are in place to ensure the integrity of the pipeline.
