GITL Conducts An “Industrial Customer Meet” At Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Recognising the demand potential in state of Madhya Pradesh wherein the MBBVPL project covers an approx distance of 982 kms out of total 1881 kms and also passes through total of 16 districts out of 29 districts, a second industrial meet in the state of M.P was organized at Indore in collaboration with M.P Government undertakings, TRIFAC (Trade and Investment Facilitation Corporation Limited) and MPAKVN (MP Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam Ltd.) on April 04th, 2014.
GITL had earlier requested Additional Chief Secretary ( Department of Commerce & Industry), Govt. of M.P for finalization of a date for joint meeting with various industry associations for apprising the status of MBBVPL project, accordingly A.C.S (who also happens to be the Chairperson of TRIFAC) readily gave his consent for the same.
Accordingly, GITL team had established contacts in form of email, telecom and personal invitations with approx 156 industrial members from Pithampur Audhyogik Sangathan and Association of Industries, M.P, the two active Associations in and around Indore, Ujjain and Dhar.
Further, State government departments / agencies like TRIFAC and M.P.A.K.V.N (Indore and Ujjain) were also invited to the said meet to ensure productive participation from all stakeholders.

The industrial meet would not have been possible without the co-operation and support of Government of Madhya Pradesh. We would like to extend our gratitude towards the Government of Madhya Pradesh in making this event a huge success.
The event saw a huge participation from industries (Bridgestone, Roca, Grasim, Mittal Corp Limited, Cipla, Siddhartha Tubes ltd., SRF, Lanxess, to name a few) belonging to industrial belts of Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Pithampur and Nagda. The Project presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session which saw a good response from various members querying for wide range of questions.
On request from member Industries, locations with distance from the grid/spur line was shown live with the help of KMZ file during the presentation that gave enough clarity to the member industries. Industry member appreciated the online measurement and glad to know the instant response
The delegates appreciated the proactive action taken by GITL for organizing customer awareness meet at pre construction stage of project. Many delegates were keen to switch over to natural gas in order to be more competitive through efficiency improvement and product quality enhancement. MD -TRIFAC praised the initiative taken by GITL and advised the Industry delegates to leverage the opportunity to ensure sustainable industrial growth in the state.
Government authorities, JV partners and industry delegates appreciated the presentation delivered by Sh. N. Bose Babu (Director & Head projects-GITL) on MBBVPL project and benefits of natural gas.
We hope to capitalise on this USER MEET and similar events in future in favour of GITL. At the last but not the least, we also extend our gratitude to Admin/HR department and Bhopal office for extending their endless support to make this event a success.
